Where We Work

Tasmia Mahmud Maple Leaf Chapter Lead

Our primary objective as a Chapter is to not only spread awareness regarding gender based violence in academic settings but also to destigmatize discussions surrounding sex education, eradicate victim shaming culture and equip students with strategies to address and mitigate violence and methods to address violent tendencies. We want to model our activities so that they are classroom friendly for greater reach.

Iqraz Jahan Aurnee Viqarunnisa Noon School & College Chapter Lead

Usually until a person reaches a certain age or goes through that trauma, they don't really know what gender based violence is. So enlightening the people about this subject is important and that can be done by WeSafe.
